I created a new technical blog on Blogger.com that you can find at http://blog.fohjin.com/, I want to use this blog to share ideas about Object-Oriented Design Principles and other programming techniques. I want to place the emphasis on actual examples, because most interesting ideas have already been well discussed and explained by others. 05.02.2008 - New website design released
It has been a long time but the Nijhof.com website has finally been updated, with a new design and also new content! Some nice gadgets have been added like the in site Google search using the Google CSE (Custom Search Engine) and ASP.Net. The new header with the Office 2007 look and feel that has been created by Russell Mason and is using r.a.d. components created by Telerik. We plan to have all our own components released for you to use including source code, for the components used created by others we will simply forward you to their site.

31.01.2008 - Server is up again
It took a complete rebuild, but he’s back again.

26.01.2008 - Server went down
The server that is hosted at Widexs went down, currently inspecting the cause of it.

13.11.2007 - Thalia Magdalena Nijhof
This morning Mona gave birth to our little daughter Thalia Magdalena Nijhof. Everything went well and both mother and daughter are doing great.

18.06.2007 - '301 Family Moved' to Loenen Holland
Today we arrived back in Holland, after a small vacation in Bergen visiting Mona’s family. We celebrated Milo’s birthday with both our families, in the morning in Norway and in the evening in Holland.

01.10.2006 - '301 Family Moved' to Sydney Australia
We moved to Sydney Australia to continue our live there, both of us really like Australia and we even met there. So we are looking forward to this new adventure. I got the opportunity to work for the newly started office of Vizrt in Sydney.

This morning Mona gave birth to our little son Milo Bert Nijhof. Everything went well and both mother and son are doing great.

16.07.2004 - Wedding Mark and Mona
Today Mark and Mona got married. The wedding took place in Holland and many of our friends from all over the world where there to celebrate this with us.
